POR:TA ASSOCIATION

POR:TA is a non-profit association that supports Portugal-based visual and performing artists, musicians and artisans, by opening doors to funding, mentorship and collaboration opportunities. Founded by a collective of local and international associates from different artistic and creative backgrounds, POR:TA was born out of a shared commitment to support arts and culture in Portugal. From entrepreneurs to designers, curators, collectors and patrons, together we bring in transversal and multi-disciplinary skills, as well as industry expertise, that can contribute to the development of artistic careers.

POR:TA, which means ‘door’ in Portuguese, celebrates Portugal as an international ecosystem and aims to foster cultural diversity, by creating a platform where local and foreign artists across different disciplines can come together, collaborate and explore new ideas.
