For the first time in the history of the School, there will be four Old Whitgiftians competing for Team GB.
Joe Choong MBE (2008-2013)
At Tokyo 2020 became the first ever British man to win individual Olympic Gold in the Modern Pentathalon. This will be his third Olympic Games and one where he will be hoping to defend his title.
Lawrence Okoye (2003-2010)
Lawrence qualified for the final of the Men's Discus Throw at London 2012 and after some time across the Atlantic competing in the NFL and Canadian Football League, he returned to competing in the Discus in 2019. Paris will be his third Olympic Games.
Zack Wallace (2013-2015)
This will be Zack's second Olympics, after competing as part of the Hockey squad that achieved fifth place in Tokyo 2020.
Jack Waller (OW 2016-2018)
Paris 2024 will be Jack's second Olympics - he was also part of the Hockey squad that achieved fifth place in Tokyo 2020.
Their progress, alongside all members of Team GB, will be followed with much anticipation and all good wishes are sent from each and every member of the Whitgift community.
